Alain devoted himself to the physical security field from the outset of his nearly 25-year career. He has gained experience working in Canada as well as abroad, in both public and private sectors.
As a security strategic planning expert, Alain is a reference in terms of threat and risk assessment, security requirements identification, and evaluation of existing protection measures. Furthermore, his contributions as a building hardening specialist have directly helped mitigate the serious consequences of potential attacks by firearms, vehicle ramming, explosives, or chemical/biological/ radiological agents. Thanks to his keen grasp of our clients’ issues, combined with his technical and technological expertise, he is well equipped to design solutions that meet project requirements.
In his role as discipline leader, Alain participates in and supports the physical security team on various complex projects. He has carried out security upgrades for Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs at a number of its embassies and consulates. His expertise has also been called upon to help secure the San Ysidro Port of Entry at San Diego—one of the U.S.’s busiest land border crossings.
