With 25 years of engineering experience, Russell specializes in protective coatings and corrosion mitigation. All physical objects have surfaces; many need to be protected, transformed, or coated using materials such as paints, sealants, and insulation. Russell’s coatings experience spans a variety of industries, including water and wastewater, pipelines, bridge rehabilitation, and chemical processing.
Russell believes if you want to truly understand how things work, you should study them when they are falling apart and then develop a design that balances function, aesthetics, cost, and durability. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with others and has authored several technical papers and presented at conferences. Russell earned an MBA at Concordia University and is a Level 3 NACE Certified Coating Inspector.
In his free time, Russell is dad to two growing boys and dreams about sailing the South Pacific.
