Kevin is a project and team manager, water resource engineer, and geographical information systems (GIS) professional who uses his expertise to support programs that help increase community flood risk awareness. He specializes in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, floodplain studies, and the National Flood Insurance Program.
Additionally, Kevin designs flood mitigation and reduction projects and stormwater management best management practices. He uses green infrastructure and environmental site design principles. He also works on stream restoration projects for various Maryland, Virginia, and DC agencies.
Recently, Kevin served as the MT-2 process manager for a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Letter of Map Revisions (LOMR). Now as a partner lead for the STARR II joint venture, he contributes to a production and technical services (PTS) contract with FEMA, providing engineering and mapping support to FEMA headquarters and regions across the country.
When he isn’t busy with consulting on flood mitigation and stormwater management strategies, Kevin enjoys playing soccer and the ups and downs of rooting for Philadelphia sports teams.
