After completing a master’s with distinction in applied economics at the University of Strathclyde, Kabindra joined us as an economist. He works on the development of business cases, economic impact assessments, and carbon assessments for a range of sectors and projects including heritage infrastructure, regeneration, and policy development.
Prior to pursuing his degree, Kabindra worked in Nepal for seven years, where he served as the chief executive officer of a service matching start-up that connected local service providers to institutional and private clients. He also worked as an editorial page editor for The Kathmandu Post, Nepal’s newspaper of record in English. From these experiences, he gained an interdisciplinary skill set that covers research, business and economic analysis, fundraising, product development, operations management, and report writing.
When he isn’t working on business cases and other economic efforts, Kabindra loves reading or traveling with his wife and child.
