Paul is a practice lead for geotechnical engineering in Atlantic Canada. In his 26 years of experience has been primarily involved with various resource development sectors in Atlantic Canada which include mining, oil and gas, and power and energy. Paul is currently involved in several high-profile projects including the Hebron GBS Project, Vale’s Lang Harbour Development and Alderon’s Kami Iron Ore Project.
Paul’s primary role is to serve as a technical lead of the geotechnical practice, accountable for developing, implementing and succeeding in the growth of the practice in the region. He is a recognized leader for Stantec on projects related to rock slope engineering and rock fall hazard assessment. Paul has been the lead engineer and investigator for numerous landslide assessment projects throughout the region. In addition to his work at Stantec, Paul currently serves on two separate school councils in his community.
