Wes has over 25 years of experience in transportation and traffic engineering. Before joining Stantec, he’d worked for the Mississippi Department of Transportation in the Traffic Engineering Division for 21 years. For 16 of those years, Wes was a member of the National Committee on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (NCUTCD) and participated at the national level in determining traffic control standards for all public and private roadways.
As the project manager for the Traffic Engineering group in our Jackson office, Wes oversees traffic studies and analyses as well as the design for traffic signals, highway signing, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS). The team also performs traffic signal field services (preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair). Currently, Wes is completing plans for a project that will rehabilitate 24 traffic signals on two highway corridors in Greenville, MS.
In his spare time, Wes enjoys golf, gardening, working in the yard (excluding the current summer heat), and Ole Miss sports. Wes’s family regularly attends Ole Miss football, basketball, and baseball games. In fact, Wes, his wife, and his son are all Ole Miss graduates and his daughter is currently a sophomore there.
