A senior principal working with our transportation team in Melbourne, Chris has over 19 years of professional experience. His breadth of knowledge covers the transportation planning and engineering spectrum and includes experience working for the public and private sector across all states of Australia and beyond.
Chris’ work is largely focused on preparing city strategies that ensure competing activity center and precinct transportation demands (parking, pedestrians, cyclists, public transport and loading/servicing) are balanced. His goal is to achieve human-centered outcomes that consider resource efficiency, urban design, place-making and economic prosperity objectives. Chris has developed specialist knowledge of all facets of parking systems and has a passion for the creation of best-practice parking strategies and policies which respond to and shape the needs of current and future drivers. As a leader in transport field, he has presented expert testimony on transportation and parking matters before planning tribunals and planning panels.
In his spare time, Chris can’t wait to hook up the caravan to take his wife and two children on their next Aussie adventure, belting out the very best of Billy Joel on his piano, and enjoying cricket and football.
