A chartered civil engineer with over 22 years of water industry experience, Ben is the regional director for the north of England and Scotland, serving a broad and varied range of clients across the region. In his role, Ben supports our operations directors and local teams to provide excellent client service, driving strategic growth, ensuring the health, safety & wellbeing of our people and supporting their career development.
Previously, Ben was the operations director accountable for the successful delivery of large asset management programme frameworks for both Yorkshire Water Services and Northumbrian Water Group. Ben has also been the framework manager for the technical consultancy framework and design programme manager for the design and construction framework for Northumbrian Water.
A naturally strong leader and communicator, Ben has experience working with client teams and fellow suppliers in a one-team environment, delivering the benefits of knowledge sharing and driving continuous improvement through the programme delivery cycle. Ben was a member of the integrated leadership team that established the collaborative AMP7 delivery model for Northumbrian Water Group to ensure a focus on programme risk and benefits, ensuring efficient delivery and required outcome achievement.
Ben is well connected both nationally and globally within Stantec, and he’s able to draw on the full expertise of the technical community to bring industry-leading ideas and innovation to client challenges.
