Katie believes good team chemistry is required for successful projects. With a diverse background in airport engineering, pavement engineering, and infrastructure assessment, she takes ownership of her designs from inception to completion. Having developed solutions for some of the largest airports in the world including Los Angeles, Hong Kong, San Francisco, and London-Gatwick, she has a comprehensive understanding of projects’ foundational concepts and the intricacies of implementation.
Passionate about pavement design and airport engineering, Katie speaks at conferences and assists organizations with technical content planning. She has co-led trainings with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on airfield pavement and routinely reviews technical papers related to airport research. She enjoys working with airports and her team on project delivery ranging from runways, taxiways and taxilans, aprons, and various airport facilities.
Beyond aviation, Katie enjoys teaching the younger students as a parent volunteer at her child’s school and traveling to visit national parks with her family.
