After training in electronics, Dominic discovered his keen interest in intrusion alarm and fire alarm fields. Later, he expanded his expertise to all applications offered in physical security. At Stantec, he’s the department director of our Physical Security Consulting and Engineering group.
In his more than 28 years of experience, Dominic has designed and introduced global security solutions including access control, video surveillance, intrusion alarm, and building and site hardening to provide multi-layer solutions that improve the security posture and reach security project objectives: protecting the client’s assets.
It’s the projects you work on that make you in this field, and Dominic had the chance to work on numerous challenging projects that forced him to exceed his limits many times. Dominic’s clients have ranged from casinos to pharmaceutics companies, from energy producers to corporate and private clients, both in Canada and internationally. Now, Dominic is a reference point for physical security matters, offering his public and private clients integrated and efficient technological solutions.
Dominic’s expertise has also been called upon by the Government of Canada to provide perimeter protection around Parliament Hill in Ottawa and by the Government of Quebec for the same matters.
