Lesley leads our planning practice in the North. She has 30 years of experience working with communities, governments, Indigenous people, businesses, utilities, and non-government organizations planning for sustainable futures across Canada.
She’s developed and led award-winning public and stakeholder engagement and planning processes, land use and design studies, integrated community plans, asset management and capital plans, large multidisciplinary teams, and energy, climate, and sustainability initiatives that have received national and international recognition.
Also sitting on our Inclusion and Diversity Council, Lesley believes our communities, professions, and company are stronger and more resilient when we are diverse. She is passionate about encouraging women and indigenous professionals to step up and ensuring there is a welcoming and inclusive environment in which they can lead.
Lesley was selected for and attended the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference and has received the Canadian Electricity Association’s award for Social Responsibility and Sustainability. She is the chair of the Yukon Energy Corporation, a director with the Chu Niikwän Development Corporation, and president of the Planning Institute of British Columbia.
