As an intern architect and project manager in our Yellowknife office, Maggie is passionate about the challenges and opportunities that come with working in Canada’s North. She works with a diverse team of professionals on a wide range of projects, from a single-family home to air terminal buildings and everything in between.
For Maggie, it’s about the project’s impact on the local community and how to provide responsibly designed facilities for all people in Canada. Some of her favorite projects have included Nunavut’s Recovery Centre—the first addiction treatment facility in Nunavut—and a concept design for Indigenous tiny homes in Pond Inlet, Nunavut. With skills ranging from architectural design, project coordination and management, and presentation material production, she’s recently begun pursuing certification in different green building sustainability systems.
In her spare time, you can find Maggie out camping with family, crocheting, gardening, or pursuing another new hobby.
