How does someone with a doctorate in public health and background in academia find themselves working with us? When opportunity knocked nearly a decade ago, Mackenzie opened the door! She joined us by assisting the local team with a variety of water projects. She quickly found that managing engineering projects was similar to the delivery of research projects, and she never looked back.
As project management leader for our US Mountain West Water group, Mackenzie has honed her skills around the project management basics related to scopes, schedules, and fees. But, more importantly, she understands that project management is really about people. She prides herself on effective communication and working with clients to solve problems. Her goal is to deliver high-quality projects that meet the needs of external stakeholders.
One of the most rewarding parts of Mackenzie’s job is seeing her team members grow, be proud of their work, and getting recognition for their efforts.
