With Mike’s nearly four decades of experience, he has managed or participated in the design of traffic, bridge, highway, and general civil engineering projects. His area of expertise includes providing design solutions on innovative intersections, the preparation of construction plans specifications and estimates for roadway and bridge projects, transportation master plans, and feasibility studies for transportation networks. The complexity of his roadway experience ranges from minor urban street rehabilitation, to rural highways, and urban interstate construction including geometrics for many major interstate interchanges.
Mike is well-known and respected for his role in advising various cities and parishes in Louisiana on transportation issues, particularly in Baton Rouge. His role on the Government Street planning project, involving 11 miles of roadway, has been instrumental in seeing this corridor become more accessible, pedestrian friendly, and bike friendly.
