A senior water engineer, Hannah primarily looks after stormwater and wastewater projects and helps her teams deliver quality solutions for their many clients. She has worked on a variety of projects, including new strategic wastewater pump stations to service Auckland’s growth, flood risk assessments and protection for a variety of national assets, and stormwater treatment and management for cycleways and state highway upgrades across the country.
Hannah worked in the United Kingdom (UK) for 10 years until 2016, and during this time, she led the Complex Flooding team for Thames Water’s five-year asset management programme, AMP5. Hannah’s expertise means she delivers difficult projects in highly urbanised environments, while working with key stakeholders to minimise impacts on the community.
Her passion is waster-sensitive design and how the management and treatment of stormwater can benefit the environment as well as the community.
Another passion of hers is dancing, particularly when she gets flung over her dance partner’s head in modern jive, for which she used to dance competitively in the UK. On a gentler note, she likes getting out of the city and spending time exploring the bush and countryside.
