A senior municipal engineer based in Winnipeg, Adam specializes in buried pipeline structures. He has over 15 years of experience in the assessment, design, construction, and renewal of underground sewer and water utilities. Leveraging his knowledge of pipeline structures and trenchless construction, he has worked on a wide range of rehabilitation projects ranging from large programs (over $30 million per annum) to specialized large diameter, non-circular, and pressure pipeline applications.
Throughout his carrier Adam has strived to learn not just the current state but also the history of buried pipe design. Through studying the work of Marston, Spangler, and Heger, among others, he regularly looks to first principles to help guide solutions to complex problems.
Beyond work, Adam enjoys live music, camping, and working on his early 1900s house. During the winter months, he restores and races vintage snowmobiles and has been competing at the Canadian Power Toboggan Championships since 2015.
