Mark’s career has spanned more than 30 years in civil and environmental engineering. He’s worked on projects that include hazardous materials corrective action, remediation engineering, environmental compliance, water resources, hydraulics and hydrology, geo-environmental studies, ecosystem framework analysis, and more.
While Mark has worked with major clients across many different industries in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, he has extensive experience with the Texas Department of Transportation, the City of Irving, and Dallas Area Rapid Transit. He’s an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and will begin his term as president of Texas ASCE in September. He also maintains ties to his alma mater, Southern Methodist University where he earned his bachelor’s through doctorate degrees, serving as an adjunct professor instructing students pursuing advanced degrees in engineering.
When he isn’t managing environmental projects or teaching future engineers, you’ll find Mark traveling, often utilizing his fluency in Spanish, and spending time with his wife and two adult children.
