As an architect, Mark brings decades of experience in the design of workplace, commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects of wide-ranging sizes and scopes—from a few hundred square feet to over sixty acres. He enjoys the design development process from schematic and design development drawings and details, to outlining specifications including pre-contract pricing and value engineering packages.
Mark uses his extensive technical architectural experience to provide quality review for in-house and consultant drawings and specifications for coordination, accuracy, code compliance, and constructability. He also establishes and monitors production schedules. During construction administration, Mark represents the design team both on- and off-site, responds to pre-bid inquiries, issues clarification documents, and performs site inspections to verify compliance with architectural intent and contract documents.
Outside of work, Mark spends his time as a part-time commercial pilot and a flight instructor. He’s also been known to play bassoon in community musical groups.
