Jordan believes that well-loved, community-centered places begin with thoughtful design and planning anchored in culture and contexts. He threads the tangible—public realm, mobility, buildings—with the intangible—scale, texture, rhythm, and feeling. He pushes beyond the traditional confines of planning and design to create the next generation of resilient and dynamic communities.
Leading our Urban Places sector in Canada, Jordan brings together practitioners to help our clients successfully navigate large, complex urban challenges. He has worked extensively across the continent and world with a wide range of clients, transforming great ideas into real community spaces.
With urban design never far from his mind, Jordan takes his passion into the community as a professor, volunteering as a planning commissioner and board member of various organizations, and through engaging with national and state Urban Land Institute chapters. Outside of work, Jordan enjoys exploring on his bike, spending time with his wife and children, and playing music.
