A senior project manager and principal, Ben brings his extensive knowledge of the Hawaiian region to projects he directs. In his role he manages and executes cultural, natural, and environmental resources and services through environmental reviews, planning, monitoring, and compliance projects—with federal, state, local, and private sector clients. He focuses on National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and State of Hawai’i Environmental Policy Act (HEPA) environmental reviews and planning projects for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, National Guard Bureau, and private sector clients.
Ben’s responsibilities for NEPA and HEPA reviews include managing environmental impact statements (EIS), environmental assessments (EA), and categorical exclusions (CATEX) for large scale complex military actions throughout the Pacific. His extensive experience managing technical field teams in data collection efforts for resource management includes complex monitoring, sampling, remediation, restoration, mitigation, and surveying.
If you ask Ben what he enjoys in his down time, he’ll say that he likes to spend time with his family and dog exploring the beaches and trails of Hawai’i.
