As an environmental engineer, Andrew recognizes the value to society to repair, rehabilitate, or design new infrastructure that affects the public and provides something beneficial that will last many years to come.
Andrew has been involved in a wide variety of projects from design through construction, in many disciplines including linear infrastructure and trenchless rehabilitation (water and wastewater) as well as vertical facilities (pump stations and treatment plant upgrades and modifications). These projects allow him to learn and collaborate and generate unique solutions. Project highlights? Coordinating facility projects at Ottawa’s wastewater treatment plant, the Robert O. Pickard Environmental Centre (ROPEC), such as new coatings on large diameter pump suction pipes and the replacement of a primary clarifier chain and flight system.
Outside the office, Andrew enjoys spending time with family, travelling, and exploring the outdoors by hiking, mountain biking, and snowboarding.
