Katy is a member of our Plymouth Community Development group who creates analytic tools, maps, and online web applications. She collaborates with municipalities and civil engineers to inventory, organize, and display their data so it can be used internally and publicly. She also regularly works with environmental scientists to display pollutants, field delineated features, and surveyed data for regulatory purposes. Additionally, she has experience using python and remote sensing.

Recently, Katy created a hybrid solution for a lead service inventory in Minnesota. She developed a web mapping website that combined the requirements of Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and the needs of 26 local municipal clients. The resulting platform combined a progress dashboard, online map, and editing capabilities for those in the field.

When she isn’t collecting, analyzing, and organizing data, Katy loves traveling and being on the move, whether that’s a cross-country road trip or hopping on a plane to go scuba dive in Mexico. If she’s staying local, you’ll find her hiking, reading, working on pottery, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends.
