Scott’s work involves a delicate balance of meeting his clients on site to inspect and review their project’s progress and designing the civil engineering-related facets of their roadway, bridge, and parking facility assignments. Being able to transition from the field to the office gives him a comprehensive understanding of each project phase and provides him with a fresh perspective regarding the importance of tight timeframes and schedules.
Over the past thirteen years, the projects that Scott has contributed to as an assistant project manager, project engineer, and inspector have benefitted the community of Cape May, New Jersey in particular. His work at the Cape May County Airport has improved the site’s surrounding roadway infrastructure to accommodate tourists, and his involvement in the emergency restoration of the Ocean Drive revetment wall helped to prevent flooding along a coastal evacuation route by raising the local roadway and rebuilding the wall to withstand tidal waves.
