With more than 10 years of experience in environmental permitting, compliance, and mitigation, Caitlin works on renewable energy and transmission projects across California and the US West. In her role as a senior biologist, planner, and project manager, she draws heavily on her academic background in assessing the effectiveness of coastal and marine management actions and development projects.
Caitlin has managed all phases of renewable energy project permitting, from the preparation of environmental documents to monitoring compliance with permit conditions during construction. She’s extremely knowledgeable of both California Environmental Quality Act and National Environmental Policy Act regulations. In addition to working on projects, she leads our US Mountain Ecosystems resource group and is part of our West Coast Offshore Wind team.
When she isn’t working on offshore wind projects, Caitlin enjoys reading, birding, and going on adventures with her husband (and fellow environmental planner), Tyler, and their two daughters, Piper and Cara.
