Jena’s involvement in Engineers Without Borders in college solidified her decision to go into engineering. Taking trips to developing countries and designing constructable solutions with site, labor, and material constraints, that served communities’ needs and communities could sustain on their own, motivated her to pursue engineering to help others.
After earning a master’s in civil engineering with a concentration in structures, Jena worked on structural restoration and building envelope projects across Florida. Since joining us, she has assisted with plan development, site inspections, and hydrology analysis for a variety of industrial and commercial land development projects.
When she isn’t busy working on industrial and commercial land development projects, you’ll find Jena spending time outdoors with her husband, baby, and dogs. She enjoys the fresh air, nature, and seeing her daughter experience all the outdoors has to offer.
