Over the course of his 40-year consulting career, Jose has gained a broad range of experience, such as delivering run-of-the-river hydroelectric schemes, directing disciplinary service teams, and managing a growing regional presence throughout Latin America.
In the last 17 years, Jose has tackled everything from project management, planning, and design, to preparing pre-feasibility and final feasibility studies for major hydropower developments. He’s also contributed to site reconnaissance, planning studies, detail design, and construction supervision of projects in the United States, Canada, Africa, Asia, Europe, and Central and South America.
In true Jose style, his new role with our Company brings him to Africa where he’ll be leading our continued hydropower efforts in developing counties. He actively supports the next generation of hydropower professionals by mentoring junior staff members and teaching his ‘be a client’s partner’ business philosophy. When he’s not in the office, you can find Jose enjoying the regions in which he serves.
