Elie has almost two decades of experience working on highway and roadway engineering as well as delivering traditional design bid build and design build projects. He’s focused on leading large multidisciplinary teams of engineering professionals, providing innovative ideas to solve complex issues, and meeting project deadlines.
Passionate about networking, meeting potential clients, and fostering key business relationships, Elie is frequently active in local engineering societies and events. An example of his focus on Virginia’s critical infrastructure was his work as Virginia Department of Transportation’s (VDOT) consultant engineering manager for the $3.8 Billion Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel (HRBT) Expansion project—VDOT’s largest construction effort to date. Elie managed the review team and was responsible for all the landside civil design reviews on this large complex project.
Elie enjoys traveling and exploring new places, new cultures, and experiencing local foods. Recently, he designed and built his garage gym and it’s become an integral part of his daily routine.
