With 40 years of experience, Charlie focuses on biosolids, solid waste, and odor related projects, including technology review and feasibility analysis, design, startup, and operational support. He has experience in the field, too—you can often find him on-site with clients, helping with operations, regulatory compliance, and air monitoring and atmospheric modeling.
In a recent example, a small town needed dewatering equipment replaced. They wanted to use the same technology and perhaps used equipment to save money. Instead, Charlie provided a change in technology that impacted operations throughout the plant and led to substantial savings. He enjoys sharing his knowledge through presentations related to biosolids, odor, and waste handling and has written several related manuals.
During his time away from the office/field, he enjoys being a dad, chauffer, cook, coach, fisherman, sailor, and hiker.
