With major capital delivery experience in the wastewater, hydro, and electricity transmission sectors, Simon has experience in program and project management and controls, as well as planning, design, and site supervision of civil engineering works. He creates and implements governance and best practice methodologies and believes in creating opportunities for knowledge transfer and training whenever possible.
Simon develops program management delivery processes and oversees tool implementation to provide efficiencies, improve value, and effectively manage risk on capital programs. He is experienced in forming and leading integrated program teams consisting of both Stantec and client staff. He currently serves as program manager for the City of San José Environmental Services Department’s San José-Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility Capital Improvement Program, which consists of rehabilitation and improvements to the wastewater plant serving over 1.4 million residents.
In his spare time, Simon enjoys cooking, working on his WWII jeep, and experiencing the outdoors.
