Ryan is a professionally registered engineer with more than a decade of experience in the civil and coastal disciplines. He has a master’s in coastal engineering and experience in design, contract documentation, project management, and implementation.
After spending time in civil construction in Zambia, Ryan has been specialising in the design and specification of hydraulic structures for the abstraction and delivery of water. Since joining our Water team in New Zealand, he has been involved in a variety of projects such as the Eastern Bays Shared Path, Tarakohe Breakwater Extension, the ongoing maintenance of the Hastings District Outfall, upgrades to the nearby Groyne, as well as the Wellington Cross Harbour Pipeline.
Currently a regional representative for the NZ Coastal Society, Ryan also serves on the society’s management committee. He’s also an avid trail runner, having run a couple of trail ultra-marathons, and volunteers at his church.
