Liz found her passion in geospatial analysis while researching the effects of ancient sea level rise on the Great Barrier Reef. As a PhD candidate, she used geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing to document the long-lasting effects of catastrophic ice sheet collapse and rapid sea level rise at the end of the last ice age.
With a diverse professional background as a geologist and geospatial specialist in geotechnical, environmental, and civil engineering, Liz has brought GIS, geospatial analysis, and remote sensing to every job she’s held. Liz wants nothing more than to promote spatial literacy within our communities and across our business. It’s been through her tireless enthusiasm and passion for science that she connects teammates, clients, and stakeholders with spatial data that allows them to come to more informed decisions.
Originally from Seattle, Liz now calls Sydney home. She enjoys exploring her passion for nature amongst Australia’s bushland and beaches.
