Stantec earns 2025 Military Friendly Employer Silver designation

Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, has earned the 2025 Military Friendly® Employer designation, receiving the Silver ranking. This is Stantec’s third consecutive year being named a Military Friendly® Employer.

Methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by VIQTORY with input from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council of independent leaders in the military recruitment community. Stantec’s final ratings were determined by combining its survey score with an assessment of its ability to meet thresholds for recruitment, new hire retention, employee turnover, and promotion and advancement of veterans and military employees.

Stantec’s Military and Veterans Advocate (MAVA) employee resource group (ERG) facilitates the integration and engagement of members of the military community within the firm. Its three pillars of commitment to veterans are attraction, transition, and retention, providing support and guidance to help service members build long successful careers at Stantec.

The MAVA ERG brings together veterans, reservists, guard members, spouses, and families of service members to support a variety of initiatives. These include a veteran transition program for new hires, fulfilling care packages for local deployed service members, building houses for wounded warriors, and participating in memorial services for those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
