Stantec-designed La Clara Condominiums open in West Palm Beach, Florida

The La Clara West Palm Beach, a 25-story luxury waterfront condominium development, recently opened its doors to residents in West Palm Beach, Florida. Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, served as the architect, interior designer, and engineer of record, alongside real estate developer Great Gulf and Terrace Mountain with design by Hariri Pontarini Architects.

Offering 83 luxury residences, the La Clara is perfectly poised between sea and sky along the Florida coast, designed to enhance the beauty of indoor-outdoor living. Its facade features a modern contemporary design with a neutral palette consisting of stucco, Roman travertine, coral stone, and granite.

“The overall vision of La Clara was to intensify the views of the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean—from every angle,” said Tess Paulose, associate and designer for Stantec’s Miami studio. “We achieved this with floor-to-ceiling glass envelope, staggered floorplans, and expansive exterior living areas for each residence.”

Upon arrival, residents are met with a curved modernist inspired porte-cochere that leads to the lobby entrance. Once inside, there is a wealth of resort-inspired amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio and spa, lap pool with day beds, lush gardens with views of the water, wine cellar, chef’s kitchen and tasting room, Onblonde Pet Spa + Boutique, private concierge, and full valet parking services.

The residences flow seamlessly from light-flooded interiors to spacious private terraces with unobstructed views of the water. The one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences range from 1,500 to 3,000 square feet and feature top-of-the-line kitchens, appliances, and bath fixtures.

The project is pursuing LEED Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
