When reliable mapping of an existing site is needed, that’s when our Data Acquisition team is invaluable. Using drones or specialist land-mounted equipment to capture thousands of high-resolution images, we develop 3D models that can create pinpoint-accurate site plans and maps.
Integrating these maps with additional data from sources such as surveys or geographic information systems, results in an invaluable tool for use in decision-making.
While reducing the number of site visits, Data Acquisition’s outputs are still accessible by multiple end users and offer a high degree of precision, delivering real time, cost, efficiency, and safety benefits to clients.
Capturing reality in a virtually-explorable format
Thousands of still images are captured on site using drone- or tripod-mounted cameras and processed via web-based software. The result is a fully-explorable 3D virtual model.
