Taking a brownfields site and converting it into a new community
Before you can build you need to know the lay-of-the-land, in other words you must survey. For the Ramsgate Park development, built on a former industrial site, we provided “field to finish” survey works, including setting out the land title and formal property boundaries.
The development consists of two 11 storey apartment blocks, two 13 storey apartments, and 21 townhouses. No project exists in isolation. For Ramsgate we needed to consider the surroundings including structures, roads, paths, natural surfaces, vegetation, and services—as well as the needs and wants of multiple stakeholders—to initiate the design and construction process.
Deploying an experienced multidisciplinary team to complete the survey works, we provided best practice surveying techniques for engineering, construction, road, infrastructure, and land developments on the Ramsgate site.
