After beginning his career with a specialty in post tensioning systems, Francis joined our team as a structural project technical lead and is currently the sector lead for social infrastructure for New South Wales. He has been involved in all aspects of the various stages of design and construction, achieving cost effective structures through efficient structural designs.
Francis sees himself as a strong and honest communicator who will make significant contributions to any project. He enjoys the autonomy he experiences in his role and working closely with clients. A particularly notable project for Francis was the Lachlan’s Line development—he worked closely with the architect to develop a structural system with no transfers. As this is the most expensive part of the structural system, Francis and his team saved the client money on the challenging mixed-use development.
When he’s not working, Francis loves to go four-wheeling, camping, and fishing. He also has a puppy named Chewy.
