Mike joined our Albany office in 2002 as a civil engineer. Since then he’s served as the Brisbane civil section manager for over a decade, and now takes on a Principal role in our Buildings Project Management team. His responsibilities include engineering design, technical advisory services, project design delivery management, services planning, feasibility studies, contract administration, authority approvals management and superintendence of various community infrastructure and land development projects. He’s worked in the residential, health, industrial, Defence, and commercial development sectors.
From the structure planning of large land and urban renewal development projects to the detailed design of bulk earthworks and civil infrastructure, Mike helps establish viable master planned communities within an urban fabric that enhances the natural environment and promotes social connectivity. Using a hands-on approach to managing projects, Mike builds close relationships with his clients and industry colleagues to ensure successful community focused outcomes are achieved within established financial, risk and time objectives.
In a former life, Mike managed a scuba diving company, and he continues to feed this passion with trips to remote locations in the world. With a young family in tow, Mike enjoys camping and attending live sporting events.
