To Lee, working in the community is not about ticking boxes, but engaging with people and making them feel heard. That's why she designs communication and stakeholder engagement strategies with the community in mind. As a communications and engagement consultant, she develops risk mitigation strategies, leads proposals, and reviews all community engagement tenders, to ensure mechanisms are in place so everyone has a voice.
Over 20 years, she’s led high performing teams across several key projects, most recently, leading communications and community engagement for the COVID19 response and vaccination rollout for the Department of Health. She strives to understand each project’s challenges, barriers, and opportunities, and bring her team along on the journey. Having multidisciplinary experience means she can easily tap into her extensive knowledge base of marketing, engagement, and communication concepts to develop robust strategies.
When she isn’t working, she loves to be active. You’ll often see her entering a new charity walk or doing a spot of ocean swimming.
