Michael may say, “geology rocks, but geography is where it’s at!” But with more than 15 years of experience, he has worked on a range of geotechnical and mining projects in Australia and across the Pacific. His focus is currently on project and team management.
Michael’s assignments cover a wide range of project types and disciplines He recently managed geotechnical projects including a central processing facility tank in Papua New Guinea, church temples in American Samoa, and Tonga, as well as a berth replacement project on Shiploader II at Hay Point Coal Terminal in Central Queensland. In addition, Michael has managed large greenfield mining projects including Caval Ridge, Adani and Valeria mines.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and young family. A typical weekend would include watching his kids play sports, fishing, and playing with his dog.
