As a geoscience specialist, Michael works in the contaminated land space. Not only does his work encompass project management and delivering high quality technical work, reports, and advice to clients, but he also oversees field programs such as soil, surface water, groundwater, and landfill assessments.
Michael enjoys addressing potential or current environmental issues within the construction and design industry that help contribute toward a safe and healthy environment for workers and local communities. He has plentiful experience in overseeing and managing large-scale water quality monitoring programs, mainly in the groundwater and surface water space. One of Michael’s career highlights is managing the water, noise, and air quality monitoring for the new Western Sydney (Nancy-Bird Walton) International Airport. Although the work is challenging, he feels fortunate to be involved in such a significant infrastructure project.
When not working on environmental projects, Michael has two passions—surfing and sailing.
