Scott provides design support for engineers in the Newcastle office as well as supporting other offices and business centres when needed. He converts engineering into drawings that convey design intent to the end user. These drawings form a valuable contribution to the overall project.
With passion for drafting and computers that dates back to high school, Scott now combines these two passions in his work. He feels fortunate to have branched out into project management and project controls, while always returning to design. He’s particularly proud of his involvement in the successful delivery of a concentrator plant semi-autogenous grinding mill upgrade. As the lead designer, he created all the 3D modelling for the structural, civil, and mechanical disciplines, in addition to the 2D drawings for the same disciplines.
When he’s not fulfilling client expectations, Scott heads to the gym on his lunch break. Out of the office, you might also find him walking or cycling near Newcastle harbour, watching motorsport, or following his favourite rugby league team, Newcastle Knights.
