A geo-environmental engineer and certified environmental practitioner site contamination specialist, Darren has more than 30 years of industry experience in Australia and Canada. He specialises in environmental and project management, remediation, and landfill gas and human health risk assessments. He also has significant experience in geotechnical practice. Darren provides technical and peer review, workgroup and program leadership, operations management, workplace health and safety stewardship, and training and mentoring of technical professionals.
Throughout his career, Darren has worked on many game-changing projects including the geotechnical investigation of Highway 69 in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, and a geotechnical investigation for the LNG Plant in Prigorodnoye, Russia. Closer to home, he provided investigation and remediation of the Altona Refinery in Victoria and the gas risk assessment and mitigation of the Sydney Park in Australia.
In his downtime, Darren enjoys participating in all forms of sport, music, and creative endeavors.
