Natalie Muir appointed to Consult Australia’s Board of Directors
Stantec’s Natalie Muir ready to tackle the consulting industry’s biggest challenges.

Consult Australia has appointed Stantec’s Regional Director for Environment & Geosciences, Natalie Muir, to its executive board. With over 25 years of experience in the engineering and environmental professions, Natalie is set to draw from her enthusiasm for sustainability to help Consult Australia meet some of the greatest challenges currently facing the built and natural environment sectors.
‘Whether it’s addressing resource challenges or driving innovative project outcomes, I am committed to leveraging my passion to drive long-term sustainable solutions that benefit Consult Australia members and the communities we impact,’ stated Muir.
Natalie’s been a steadfast advocate for collaborative contract models throughout her career. Her extensive governance experience spans over a decade, during which she has made significant contributions to various critical projects, including serving the Logan Water Partnership. The partnership’s commitment to innovation and sustainability has garnered numerous industry awards, reinforcing its position as a leader in water management solutions.
Known for her technical acumen and business understanding, Natalie has earned a reputation as a capable leader. She excels at guiding, mentoring, and inspiring individuals to think innovatively and solve complex problems. Natalie is also the Vice Chair of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) Sustainable Development Committee and is looking forward to strengthening the link between Consult Australia and FIDIC as part of her board role.
