Barrack Place awarded WELL Certified™ Platinum Rating
Barrack Place at 151 Clarence Street, Sydney has been awarded a WELL™ Certified Platinum Rating by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI™).

Developed by Investa for Oxford Investa Property Partners (OIPP), Barrack Place already held the title of Australia’s first ever WELL Core & Shell Precertified Gold building, achieved in 2017.
The Platinum rating was achieved for the exceptional performance of the design, construction and operation of the building in supporting health, wellbeing and comfort of the people who work and visit Barrack Place every day.
Barrack Place earned the Platinum rating by scoring highly across seven categories of building performance including Air, Water, Light, Nourishment, Fitness, Comfort, and Mind, translating to a myriad of health and wellness benefits for building occupants.
Complementing the 6 Star Green Star Rating awarded in January 2019, this accolade puts Barrack Place in esteemed company with only a small handful of buildings in Australia to achieve this prestigious double.
Barrack Place was originally designed to a 5 Star Green Star and achieved a WELL Gold Precertification however, through a strong commitment to sustainability, as well as finding innovations and improvements in construction and materiality, Stantec, in conjunction with major contractor, Built and office owner, manager and developer, Investa worked on a strategy to improve the building to achieve a 6 Star rated outcome.
The 22,000 square metre, A-Grade office tower was designed to deliver elements to attain a simplified, workable solution that delivered a higher environmental outcome including a:
